Terms and Conditions for Fully Folded

Welcome to Fully Folded! By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("the customer") and Fully Folded ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. Services Provided
Fully Folded provides wash, dry, and fold laundry services, including pickup and delivery. We use standard washing and drying procedures suitable for most clothing items. While we aim to deliver a high standard of service, we cannot guarantee specific results, such as complete stain removal.

2. Customer Responsibility

Item Suitability: By submitting your laundry, you confirm that all items are suitable for machine washing and tumble drying. Items labeled "hand wash only," "dry clean only," or similar should not be included. We are not liable for damage to such items.

Inspection of Garments: Customers must check all garments for items left in pockets (e.g., pens, coins, or electronics) before handing them over. We are not responsible for damage caused by such items during laundering.

Special Instructions: Any special requests, such as the use of hypoallergenic detergents or temperature-specific washing, must be communicated in writing at the time of order placement. While we strive to accommodate such requests, we do not guarantee compliance in all cases.
3. Damaged or Lost Items

Normal Wear and Tear: Fully Folded is not responsible for wear and tear resulting from the laundering process, including but not limited to fading, shrinkage, or minor fabric damage.

Liability Limitations: Claims for lost or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. In such cases, the customer must provide proof of the item's original value and condition. If a claim is accepted, compensation is limited to a maximum of ten times the service charge for the item in question.

Exclusions: We are not liable for:

Pre-existing conditions such as weak fabrics or previous damage.

Damage to accessories, decorations, or non-clothing items.

Missing buttons, zippers, or other fasteners.

4. Stain Removal
Fully Folded will make reasonable efforts to remove stains from garments; however, stain removal is not guaranteed. It is the customer's responsibility to identify and clearly communicate the presence and location of stains requiring treatment at the time of order placement.

Treatment Limitations: Some stains may be permanent and resistant to removal by standard laundering processes. Certain types of stains (e.g., oil, ink, wine) may require specialized treatment beyond our capabilities.

Recommendation for Dry Cleaning: For heavily stained or delicate items, we recommend that customers seek the services of a professional dry cleaner, as such garments may not respond well to regular washing and drying methods.

Liability for Stain Treatment: Fully Folded is not responsible for any damage caused to garments during the stain removal process. Additionally, failure to identify a stain may result in the stain becoming more set during washing.
5. Pickup and Delivery

Unattended Deliveries: If you request laundry pickup or delivery without personal contact (e.g., leaving items outside your residence), you assume all risks for loss or damage to your laundry before pickup or after delivery.

Missed Appointments: If you are not available at the scheduled time, a redelivery fee may apply. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
6. Payment Terms

Pricing: Service charges are based on weight or item count and may include additional fees for special requests. Prices are subject to change, and the latest rates are posted on our website.

Payment Method: Payment is due at the time of service or upon delivery. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers.

Late Payments: Overdue payments may incur a late fee. Fully Folded reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment.
7. Minimum Order and Service Limitations
We may impose a minimum order weight or charge. Orders below the minimum will incur a flat fee as specified on our website.
8. Allergies and Detergent Preferences
We use commercial-grade detergents. If you have allergies or require specific detergents, please inform us in advance. While we make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations: Orders can be canceled or rescheduled up to 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 12 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee.

Refunds: Refunds are issued at our sole discretion and only in cases where we fail to deliver services as promised.
10. Amendments to Terms
Fully Folded reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fully Folded’s liability for any loss, damage, or injury is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. Under no circumstances will we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Ontario, unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
