B2B Biohazard Policy
At Fully Folded, the health and safety of our customers, employees, and community are our top priority. To ensure a clean and hygienic environment for everyone, we have established a comprehensive biohazard policy that outlines how we handle potentially hazardous items in the laundry process.
Definition of Biohazards
Biohazardous materials include, but are not limited to:
-
Items contaminated with bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, feces or urine.
-
Clothing or linens exposed to infectious materials.
-
Items that pose a risk of spreading harmful pathogens, bacteria or virus.
Identification and Handling
-
Inspection:
-
All laundry items are carefully inspected before washing to identify potential biohazards.
-
Any items deemed hazardous will be isolated and removed from the standard laundry process.
-
-
Safe Containment:
-
Biohazardous items will be placed in designated, sealed bags to prevent cross-contamination.
-
These items will be handled exclusively by trained personnel using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
-
-
Disposal or Specialized Cleaning:
-
If an item cannot be safely cleaned, it will be securely disposed of according to local regulations.
-
For cleanable items, we will use high-temperature washing cycles and hospital-grade disinfectants.
-
Bed Bug Protocol
Laundry suspected of being exposed to bed bugs requires special handling to ensure the safety and cleanliness of all items we process.
-
Customers must identify any laundry suspected of having bed bugs and double-bag the items in tightly knotted plastic bags.
-
Upon identification, these items will be subjected to additional laundering protocols, including high-heat treatments to eliminate any pests.
-
Additional charges will apply for handling and processing these items due to the need for specialized procedures and equipment.
-
If bed bugs are discovered without prior notification, we reserve the right to refuse service for the affected items and may impose additional fees.
Customer Notification
-
If we identify biohazardous or bed bug-affected items in your laundry, we will contact you immediately to discuss next steps.
-
Additional fees may apply for the handling, cleaning, or disposal of these items.
Employee Training
All team members undergo regular training on:
-
Recognizing biohazards and pest-related risks.
-
Proper handling and containment procedures.
-
Safe cleaning and disposal methods.
Prohibited Items
For the safety of all parties, we ask customers to refrain from including the following items in their laundry:
-
Medical waste or sharp objects.
-
Items heavily soiled with bodily fluids.
-
Any materials that require specialized biohazard or pest-related disposal.

Fully Folded is committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. By adhering to this biohazard policy, we aim to protect the well-being of our customers and staff while delivering the exceptional laundry service you trust.
